Caesars Entertainment opts for solar power in Atlantic City: With the help of DSD Renewables, Caesars Entertainment’s Atlantic City destinations—Caesars Atlantic City and Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City—are now home to a four canopy, 6.5 MW solar portfolio, and a fifth canopy is under development.

The Big Island says Aloha to more solar power: AES Hawaii has successfully launched a new 42 MW solar-plus-storage facility on Hawaii’s Big Island, a challenging project that included drilling into some extremely hard volcanic rock.

Alliant Energy’s Beaver Dam Solar Project a win all the way around: Alliant Energy has started operation of its 50 MW Beaver Dam solar project in Wisconsin, which is expected to deliver long-term benefits to farmers, customers and communities.

U.S. Offshore wind gets a push behind it with federal funding: The U.S. offshore wind industry hit some setbacks with rising interest rates and component cost inflation, but the industry is now solidly moving ahead, helped along by tax credits from the Inflation Reduction Act, and state supports—and the long term outlook looks more promising. enerG talks to industry experts for their outlook on the industry, with a look at what projects are moving ahead now, and what it’s expected to start soon.

Freedom from fossil fuels, with Houston solar project: Freedom Solar Power has completed the largest commercial solar installation in the greater Houston, Texas area in partnership with Stainless Structurals, a 2 MW project that will replace the equivalent of 3,900 barrels of oil per year with electricity from clean renewable sources.
